eDS has a 200,000 SF facility located in Winston-Salem, NC. only .5 miles from U.S. Route 52, 2 miles from Interstate 40, and 15 miles from the new FedEx East Coast Air and Ground Hubs near the Piedmont Triad International Airport. This location gives our clients the ability to meet higher customer service expectations, have a more ambitious inventory strategy, focus more on supply chain optimization, ship to and from a variety of domestic or worldwide locations and have more shipping flexibility overall. From here you can literally go anywhere. 

The eDS facility is completely secure, from alarm systems to security cameras, to locked gates and a fenced in yard. Your product will be safe in our hands.

Order Management & Inventory Management:

With our state of the art Supply Chain Business Suite. "eDMIS" system we are able to:

* Make orders eligible for immediate same day fulfillment

* Provide shipment information with appropriate shipment data and tracking number

* Provide real time inventory status

* Track inventory by Lot, Serial Number, Actual Weight, Expiration Date, Container, etc

* Track inventory by Available, Allocated, Quarantine, Damaged, Hold, and Back Order

* Provide any other method that is desired by the client

eDS runs continual cycle counts on all inventory to insure that the eDMIS system has identified that all available inventory matches the physical inventory actually on hand.

Shipping:

eDS offers clients a wide range of shipping options, whether it is LTL, TL, or all small package services. We work with our clients to offer the most economical shipping program for their product volume, size, weight, and value.

The customer selects the criteria of the order, which can include:

* In-transit tracking

* Insurance

* Signature required

* Delivery confirmation

* Home delivery

* White glove service

*  Etc.

Our client's may ship on eDS volume accounts, or they may use their own shipping accounts.

Inbound Shipments:

eDS has the ability to serve all of your inbound needs including transportation. We receive ocean containers from the port of Norfolk, VA; Charleston, SC; Wilmington, NC; and other ports on the East Coast. Upon receipt of shipment, the product will be:

* Checked for quantity

* Item and Sku ID'ed

* Analyzed for losses and/or damages

* Immediately entered into inventory

* This process supports immediate product availability for order fulfillment.
